Swimming Lessons are taught by our trained instructors on a year round basis at California Sports Center's Sunnyvale Swim Complex.  Our staff is here to assist youngsters with their comfort & safety in the water. Our excellent progression system allows children of all ages & abilites to develop their swim skills in a fun, challenging learning environment, and at a comfortable pace.

Parent-Tot classes are taught at a 10:1 ratio while all other preschool levels are taught at a 3:1 ratio.

Levels & Descriptions

Sea Anemone (Parent-Tot)
Ages 3 months to 3 years ONLY. Children will work on becoming comfortable in the water. Parent participation in the water is required.

Clownfish
Ages 3-4 ONLY. Designed for absolute beginners with no water experience.

Sea Turtle
Ages 3-4 ONLY. Designed for students with water experience but not yet able to float unassisted. Students must be able to put their face in water, blow bubbles, and float on their front and back with assistance.

Sea Star 1 (Level 1)
Ages 5+ ONLY. Designed for complete beginners who are not yet able to able to put their face in water, blow bubbles, or float.

Sea Star 2 (Level 2)
Ages 5+ ONLY. Students must be able to float on their back and front unassisted, put their face in the water, blow bubbles, submerge head 3 times, and glide from the wall to the instructor with face in the water.
